Monday’s bargaining session was off the record, at the company’s request, so unfortunately  there are no specifics to report.  The sides spent the day discussing a narrowed list of topics while awaiting the arrival of the federal mediator on Tuesday. Despite company suggestion last week that the mediator would be available for Monday’s and Wednesday’s session, it turns out he only is available for Tuesday’s.

The Guild’s auditor will also be in town Tuesday, and we are scheduled to inspect the company’s financials at 11 a.m. As has been explained, that inspection also will be confidential, thus we can share no specifics, but the information we see might help guide future bargaining. We’ll keep you posted.
